Ending Relationships Can Feel Excruciating…
Some time has passed, but the whole thing swirls in your mind’s eye as if it happened just yesterday. Your sleep has been awful. Your appetite is off. You cry almost every day.
You try your best to “let it go” but inside your body is hurting and it’s hard to get used to that empty space next to you.
Reliving it in your mind just makes you feel small and ashamed. You don’t want to burden your friends with talking about this, because you feel like by now you should be “over it.” In your heart of hearts, you know that it wasn’t the best relationship, but it still hurts. You’re still heartbroken. You’re scared this means you’re not lovable.
Helping Women Recover After A Painful Breakup or Divorce
I’m Brittany Schnurr, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Connecticut and Virginia. I help women sort through the pain, fear, shame, and anger that comes after a breakup or divorce. In our online sessions you will learn ways to cope with the now, start to release the past, and begin dreaming again about the future. Our sessions will be a place for you to build self-compassion and understanding.
My hope for you is that you start to feel whole, recognize and respect your own needs, and rebuild trust in yourself and others. Women who have worked with me have been able to release toxic relationships, build their confidence, and better assert themselves. In the process you may start to stand up for yourself more, say no (and mean it), and overall become nicer to yourself.
If you are ready to start moving through the devastation and heartbreak, call me at 860-384-7626 or contact me to schedule a free 15-minute video consultation in Connecticut and Northern Virginia to begin your healing process and finally connect to yourself again.
